Nicole Tetreault-Ely

Head of Inclusion K-12

Nicole has been a resident of Dubai for 11 years and brings 14 years of valuable teaching experience to her current role at GEMS Dubai American Academy (DAA), where she is now in her 4th year. Originally from Ontario, Canada, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) at Trent University and her Bachelor of Education at the University of Windsor. Nicole also holds a Masters in International School Leadership.


Her international journey in education has taken her to both China and the UAE, where she has taken on roles as a classroom teacher, inclusion specialist and Head of Inclusion. Nicole is accompanied at DAA by her husband, Edward Ely, and their children, Everett and Emerson.


Nicole's extensive experience and her commitment to her educational path have equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand the unique needs of her students and guide them towards achieving their full potential.
