Ashley Szar
Assistant High School Principal
Ashley joined GEMS Dubai American Academy in August 2017. Ashley's previous roles at DAA include teaching High School science and serving as the Head of the High School Science Department. Prior to joining DAA, Ashley taught science at the Middle and High School levels in Texas. Additionally, Ashley is proud to have served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
Ashley holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology, Masters of Science in Management, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. She is a life-long learner who values education as a means to pursue personal and professional ambitions. Ashley is passionate about developing and delivering high-quality, meaningful curriculum that is accessible to all learners.
Ashley is joined in Dubai by her husband Charles, and aviation executive, son Benjamin, and daughter Anna.
