Assistant Elementary Principal (KG - Gr. 1)

Annalise is thrilled to join the Elementary leadership team at Assistant Principal. 

Annalise brings over 15 years of experience as an educator and leader to her role as Elementary Assistant Principal at DAA. A graduate of Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, Annalise has been recognized by Gulf News as one of the Most Inspiring Teachers in the UAE. She holds certifications in Educational Leadership, Adaptive Schools Training, and coaching through the CoachU Coaching Clinic. 

Her teaching journey began in London, where she immersed herself in Early Years education while embracing the city’s rich cultural experiences. Her passion for travel and world cultures led her to Abu Dhabi, where she further honed her instructional skills at a well-established American school.

A move to Dubai, afforded Annalise the opportunity to take on various middle leadership roles, including Head of Department, Head of Mathematics, and Leader of Learning. She has mentored teacher candidates, spearheaded peer coaching initiatives, and championed various Professional Learning Communities to promote collaborative, differentiated, student-centered learning environments. 
Since joining Dubai American Academy as a fifth-grade teacher in 2021, Annalise has continued to raise educational standards by promoting curiosity, creativity, and high expectations for all students. As an educational leader, she consistently prioritizes building strong relationships with colleagues, students, and the parent community. She is honored to work with so many talented and passionate educators here at DAA!
