Dubai American Academy Celebrates Thanksgiving
On Thursday, 23 November, the Dubai American Academy High School celebrated the American holiday of Thanksgiving. For the 7th year in a row the entire high school student body and staff came together for a sit down feast of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, pumpkin pie and all the trimmings. Each person was able to express gratitude for all we have in life and to experience a celebration that can be enjoyed by all. The special guests of honor were the support staff who work every day to make sure the grounds are clean, the buses run smoothly and the building is maintained. The event was organized by the High School Student Senate and entertainment was provided by high school students and staff. The students brought life to the school motto ‘Culture of Kindness’. |
